We will be having upcoming practices / club paddles on Tuesday Sep 15th @ 5:30 PM at the UWO Aquatic Center.

The club is open to students, faculty, staff, and members of the community. It is an opportunity to meet weekly and enjoy the sport of Dragonboat racing on the Fox River. Bring a friend or feel free to stop by and try it out.

Oshkosh Dragonboat Club

UPDATE: The practice scheduled for Sun Sept 13th has been canceled.

After launching the boat and paddling around in the not so calm lake we
made a stop at “The Other Place”.  Then we were bribed to stop at “Langs
Landing”.  At Langs Landing we sparked the interest of 7 others to get
in the boat and go for a ride. After paperwork was signed and land
training was done we headed out on the lake.  We were welcomed back with
water balloons, and although we stayed dry the dragon was able to soak
the launcher as we pulled into dock.

Thank you to Kim and Nicole G, Georgine L, Brian T, Cindy P, Ryan K, Don
A, George P, Rod H, and our two new paddlers Chris Olson and Patti
Binner.  Also a thank you to Cindy, Don and Brian for helping us at the
boat house to get the dragon to Winneconne.

We are planning to have our next meeting / paddling Tuesday June 16th 5:30 PM at the UWO Aquatic Center (behind Kolf Center).

**Please bring paddling clothes as we will either be paddling in the dragonboat or canoes**

We are also planning to have a future meeting and paddling starting from Fratello’s on the Fox River to try something different, stay tuned for more info.

Oshkosh Dragonboat Club

Our next meeting/practice and cookout will be Tue June 2nd 5:30 PM at our normal location (UWO Aquatic Center behind Kolf Center on Waterfront).

Because of summer commitment on the weekends were are going to try meeting on Tuesday’s and one Saturday in June and July and then in the fall move back to Saturday practices.
